CLEVELAND, Ohio -- 'Tis the season for holiday cups at Starbucks.
Customers can pick up a collectible reusable red cup for free with the purchase of a handcrafted holiday beverage. The giveaway is good now while supplies last at participating Starbucks locations.
“This year’s cup will warm your heart as well as your hands, with a festive design that evokes a cozy holiday sweater,” the company said in a press release.
The coffee chain is also continuing its annual tradition of offering holiday-themed single-use paper cups. The theme this time around: “Carry the Merry.”
“Our thought behind the cups this year was about people carrying them out in the world as messengers of joy,” said Starbucks creative director Jeff Wilkson. “In a way that message deepened as we got further and further into this year. We want to be that beacon for people, a brief moment that they can look forward to.”
The cups come in four designs: ribbon, dot, sparkle, and brand wrap.
Customers can choose to fill their holiday cups with one of five seasonal drinks: a Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, or Eggnog Latte.
